Bones found at Bondi are human: police

Police have confirmed the bones found by a construction worker beneath a unit block at Sydney's Bondi Beach are human.

Forensic tests have confirmed the bones found at a unit block in Bondi Beach are human.

The "small amount of bones" were discovered by a construction worker on Ramsgate Avenue on Wednesday morning.

A forensic test confirmed they belonged to a human but no further details about the age or gender were available, a NSW Police spokesman told AAP on Thursday.
