The Western Bulldogs will give star midfielder Marcus Bontempelli his first AFL pre-season hitout in Thursday night's clash with Brisbane.
The reigning premiers have also added Easton Wood, Liam Picken and veterans Matthew Boyd and Dale Morris to their 29-man squad for the game at Etihad Stadium.
Bontempelli, who was rested for the Bulldogs' pre-season opener against Melbourne last week, earned All-Australian selection for the first time last year.
The 21-year-old also became the youngest Bulldogs best-and-fairest winner since David Thorpe in 1968.
Back-up ruckman Tom Campbell, who hurt his ankle during training over the weekend, will sit out the game alongside captain Bob Murphy, Luke Dahlhaus and Tom Liberatore.
