Booval gunman still on the loose

Three people who were in an Ipswich house, west of Brisbane, at the time of a suspected homicide have been questioned by Queensland detectives.

Investigations are continuing into a suspected homicide west of Brisbane.

Neighbours called emergency services around 2am on Friday after hearing a gunshot from a property at Booval, Ipswich.

When police arrived, they found a 26-year-old man who had died of a gunshot wound, along with another man, 27, who suffered minor head injuries and was taken to hospital.

A 24-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, who were also at the house at the time, were assisting police with the investigation on Friday.

But Detective Inspector Lew Strohfeldt said police had no suspects.

The address was known to police and neighbours said they often saw different cars coming and going, Channel Seven reported.
