Bourke Street attack: Sixth person dies in hospital

A 33-year-old woman has become the sixth person to die after a car was driven into pedestrians in Melbourne's Bourke Street Mall on January 20.

Victoria Police have confirmed a 33-year-old woman has died in hospital as a result of injuries sustained when a car drove into pedestrians in Melbourne's Bourke Street Mall on January 20.

Twenty-two-year-old Sydney-sider Jess Moudie, 33-year-old Melbournian Matthew Si, a 25-year-old Japanese national, 10-year-old Thalia Hakin and three-month-old Zachary Bryant were also killed.
A 26-year-old man had been charged with five counts of murder.

Nine people remain in hospital, with one person in critical condition.
