Boy, 6, killed by truck as dad reverses over him

A reversing truck has struck and killed a six-year-old boy in Tasmania; the boy's father was at the wheel of the vehicle.

A six-year-old Tasmanian boy has tragically been killed in an accident at his home.

The boy's father had been reversing a truck laden with logs on Sunday in the yard of their Swansea home when he hit the boy who was behind the vehicle.

The child died at the scene.
