Logistics giant Brambles has reported a two per cent drop in first quarter revenue due to the stronger US dollar, in which it reports its results.
The pallet and container provider reported total sales revenue of $US1.32 billion ($A1.81 billion) for the three months to September 30, an eight per cent increase on a constant currency basis compared to the prior corresponding period but a slight decline in real terms.
"Our constant-currency trading performance for the first quarter reflects a solid run rate, consistent with our previously stated guidance," Brambles chief executive Tom Gorman said.
