Brisbane CBD shut down for police incident

A six-block section of Edward Street in Brisbane's CBD has been shut while police respond to an incident.

A six-block section of Brisbane's CBD has been shut down as police respond to an incident.

Edward Street was closed to vehicles and pedestrians between Mary and Turbot Streets at about midday on Saturday.

Police would not confirm the nature of the incident but have advised Queensland Ambulance Service is also in attendance.
