The Brisbane woman critically injured when her husband reversed his car into in her and their son has died four days after the incident.

Her 14-year-old son remains in a stable condition in Lady Cilento's Children's Hospital with serious injuries.

Police are treating Tuesday night's crash, in the driveway of a Woolloongabba home, as a tragic accident, but the forensic crash unit investigation is continuing.
