Brisbane ferry workers to return to work

Brisbane ferry drivers have reached an agreement on workplace conditions with their employer Transdev on the first day of a three-day strike.

Brisbane's ferry drivers will return to work on Thursday after reaching an agreement with their employer over workplace conditions and wages.

They walked off the job early Wednesday for a three-day strike over stalled negotiations with Transdev.

The Maritime Union of Australia has since announced they have reached an in-principle agreement that would deliver a pay rise and roster certainty for workers.
