Brisbane are breaking out the cotton wool ahead of their NRL elimination final against Gold Coast.
Representative prop Josh McGuire was a no-show at training on Tuesday as he nurses a thigh complaint while hooker Andrew McCullough (ankle) and bench forward Alex Glenn (groin) both failed to finish the session.
Centre Tom Opacic did train but was on light duties only as he nurses a shoulder injury.
Sam Thaiday played down any concern for the quartet, saying they were being a "bit sooky" and he expects all of his teammates to face the Titans at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.
"They're just looking after them," Thaiday said.
"Semi-final footy is very full-on, very high intensity, it's do or die for us. We'd rather have the boys 100 per cent on Friday than thrash them round on the field."
Both Glenn and McCullough played down their injury concerns, although McCullough did reveal his ankle complaint is more than just a simple training knock.
"For the last couple of weeks it's something to get through week by week," he said.
"It's just annoying. There's a bit of bruising there ... the ligaments and everything are fine.
"It's just something I've got to deal with. I played with it last week and the Melbourne game as well. Just a matter of maintaining it and playing well."
The Broncos hold an imperious record against the Titans, having won their past nine clashes with their south-east Queensland rival at their home ground.
In a tongue-in-cheek moment, Thaiday said the Titans may have selection issues of their own given superstar recruit Jarryd Hayne's history of code-hopping.
"There's no guarantee of him playing," Thaiday said of the Titans' fullback.
"He might have a dream tomorrow night and leave the game again, take up water polo or something. Who knows?"
