Celebrations were ongoing on Sunday after the Brisbane Lions pulled off a three-peat in a nail-biting AFL Grand Final.
The players revelled with fans at the Brunswick Street Oval in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, the historic home of the Fitzroy Lions, which merged with the Brisbane Bears to form the Brisbane Lions in 1996.
Lions fan Den Wulf, clad head to toe in team merch and riding a tinsel-covered bike, told The Age he'd been a fan since the 80s when he lived in Fitzroy.
"You can’t describe it. I couldn’t sleep last night. It’s an awesome feeling. You can’t beat it," he said.
Brisbane coach Chris Fagan told fans he didn't have much of a voice left after Saturday night's celebrations, which ran late into the early hours of the morning at the Pullman Hotel.

"We had a pretty good celebration last night," he said.
"It wasn't the prettiest of grand finals and for large parts of it we looked like we probably weren't going to win the game," Fagan told the crowd.
"But this group's got amazing heart and amazing resilience but when they got 17 points up and played that Wharfie thing, our boys fired up and were able to play the best five minutes you'll ever see in a grand final."
"As their coach, I am ever so grateful for their efforts."
The Fremantle Dockers were up by 17 points late in the game and were on course for their first-ever premiership when Brisbane surged to victory in the final stretch.
Logan Morris put the Lions in front with a minute left, then kicked the sealer.
Some fans had been waiting at the oval since the crack of dawn, including one woman who told the ABC her family contained five generations of Lions supporters.
'One more year' for Fagan
Chants of "one more year" started up when Fagan walked on stage at the family event in Fitzroy.
After completing his tenth season as coach, capped off with an incredible grand final triumph, Fagan is said to be considering ending his Lions career on a high.
The 65-year-old received louder applause than any of the players at Sunday's event.
"We love you Fagan," fans screamed out before he spoke.
Video of him partying on the shoulders of star Lions defender Harris Andrews has already gone viral.
Fagan preparing his Lions for the Dockers' use of their in-game 'wharfie time' activation will go down in Australian sports folklore.
The Lions turned it to their advantage, scoring four goals in as many minutes.
All Lions players managed to make it to Brunswick St Oval, except for youngster Levi Ashcroft.
The 19-year-old got "a bit excited" in celebrating his second premiership in as many seasons in the AFL, according to teammate Ryan Lester.
