Brisbane search resumes for missing rower

Queensland Police are continuing their search of the Brisbane River for missing rower Mark Roome.

Police have resumed the search for a rower who has been missing in the Brisbane River for more than 24 hours.

Mark Roome, 63, was rowing with two friends when they realised he had capsized at about 4.40am on Wednesday.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the search would continue on Thursday.
