The Bash Brothers may soon welcome a new addition to the family.
Brisbane Heat captain Chris Lynn says teenager Max Bryant is a chance of joining him and fellow master blaster Brendon McCullum in their exclusive club in the upcoming Big Bash League.
Lynn and Kiwi star McCullum are as tight as siblings but have shown no love for rival attacks, earning their moniker with their brutal big hitting at the top of the order.
While Lynn at first seemed reluctant for anyone else to join their close clique, he conceded 19-year-old Bryant may just bludgeon his way into the Bash Brothers' clubhouse this summer.
Bryant looks set to either open or come out swinging at first drop in what would arguably be the BBL's most damaging top three line-up.
"There's a criteria building for the Bash Brothers but it is quite settled at the moment," Lynn said.
"(But) if anyone Max Bryant, if given the opportunity, will put his hand up. I have no doubt about that."
Lynn conceded he may drop down to No.3 so Bryant can tee off with McCullum as openers in Brisbane's BBL campaign which starts against Adelaide Strikers at the Gabba on Wednesday night.
"If it's Max and Baz (as openers), we don't know. We are a very balanced unit at the moment and we will play to the conditions as well," he said.
Bryant sounded his intentions with a 32-ball 71 for Queensland in the domestic one-day tournament, notching his half century in 23 balls - the fastest in Bulls history.
Most recently Bryant thrashed 62 off 65 balls for a Cricket Australia XI against a full-strength Indian attack in last month's tour match at Sydney.
While Lynn may be considering separating from his Bash Brother McCullum at the top of the order, the Australian white-ball star will still lean heavily on the Kiwi after taking over the captaincy from him this summer.
"I have been fortunate to be under him the last couple of years so I have learned many things," Lynn said.
"To me he is the greatest leader of men that I have seen so I don't want to change too much.
"But first of all let's go out and have some fun."
