British diver Tom Daley, 23, and US filmmaker Dustin Lance Black, 43, announced they were expecting a baby.

Daley, a bronze medal winner in the London and Rio Olympic Games, shared a photo of the baby scan picture on Instagram and Twitter with the caption: "Happy Valentines Day!".

A spokesperson for Daley confirmed the news: "Tom and Dustin are thrilled to share that they are expecting their first child in 2018."

Daley announced he had a boyfriend in a YouTube video in 2013 and two years later the pair got engaged.
In 2017, the couple got married at Bovey Castle Hotel on Dartmoor, in southwest England, in May last year.

Daley is one of the biggest names in world diving and rose to fame during the London Olympics when he won a last-gasp bronze medal in the 10m Platform event.

Black won an Oscar for the best original screenplay for the 2008 film, Milk, which was based on the life of gay rights activist Harvey Milk.
