An ABC broadcaster has been suspended for making racist comments on air.
Veteran sports commentator David Morrow made the comments about Indigenous Australians in the leadup to Monday night's NRL broadcast on the ABC Grandstand show.
The comments were accidentally broadcast in the Wollongong area, reports the daily Telegraph.
The paper also reports NRL CEO David Smith's response.
"The comments are totally unacceptable and we've made that position clear to the ABC," said Mr Smith.

"Rugby league's commitment to indigenous programs, to the All Stars and our own reconciliation action plan couldn't be more at odds with such a remark. Ours is a game that welcomes people from every cultural background.''
ABC reports a spokesman for the corporation saying the ABC takes issues of discrimination and prejudice extremely seriously, and the incident will be investigated.
