Broadway 's Nerds finds its Bill Gates

The Book of Morman's Rory O'Malley has been cast as Bill Gates in the new Broadway musical Nerds, while Bryan Fenkart will play Steve Jobs.

Nerds, a new Broadway musical about tech giants Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, will star Rory O'Malley and Bryan Fenkart.

The show, which begins previews in April at the Longacre Theatre, "plugs into the epic rivalry between two of our culture's biggest icons".

O'Malley, a Tony Award nominee for The Book of Mormon, plays Gates, and Fenkart, who was in Memphis, will play Jobs.

Others in the cast include Patti Murin (Lysistrata Jones), Lindsay Mendez (Wicked), Rob Morrison (Avenue Q) and Kevin Pariseau (Legally Blonde).

The show features book and lyrics by Jordan Allen-Dutton and Erik Weiner Adult Swim's animated Robot Chicken) and music by Hal Goldberg. Casey Hushion will direct.
