Broncos ready to unleash prop on Bunnies

Brisbane recruit Herman Ese'ese is poised to be the Broncos' wrecking ball if Alex Glenn is ruled unfit for Friday's NRL clash against South Sydney.

Brisbane are preparing to unleash a 110kg wrecking ball at South Sydney's under-siege forwards in Friday's NRL clash.

Herman Ese'ese is lining up to make his first appearance as a Bronco if Alex Glenn is ruled out of the Rabbitohs' visit due to a hip injury.

Glenn didn't train with the Broncos on Tuesday, while Ese'ese received one-on-one guidance from coach Wayne Bennett during the session.

If picked, the former Canterbury prop will pose an unknown threat to Sam Burgess and the rest of the Rabbitohs' forwards.

New Zealand international Adam Blair firmly believes the 21-year-old is up to the task if picked.

"100 per cent," Blair said.

"It's all about confidence and we're all taking a lot of confidence out there ... he's just got to go out there and do a job."

The Rabbitohs head to Brisbane following back-to-back losses but Blair is wary of a fired-up outfit.

Blair's first match as a Bronco was a 36-6 hiding by Souths at Suncorp Stadium in round one last year, a memory that is clearly still fresh in his mind.

"It's not about settling the score but yeah, I do remember that," Blair said.

"Everyone knows what Souths can do ... we know they're going to be dirty on themselves and they're going to come up here ready to prove a point to, not only themselves, but everyone else. We need a massive performance."
