Brother accused of stabbing sibling in NSW

NSW police have charged a man over the stabbing of his teenage brother in the arm during a domestic dispute at a southern tablelands home.

A teenager has allegedly been stabbed by his older brother, who was under an apprehended violence order, during a fight at a NSW southern tablelands home.

The 15-year-old was stabbed in the arm by his 25-year-old brother during a dispute at Queanbeyan late on Friday night, police allege.

The younger brother was treated at the scene before being taken to Canberra Hospital.

He's since been released.

Police have charged the older brother with wounding with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm and contravening an apprehended violence order.

He has been refused bail and is due before Queanbeyan Local Court on Sunday.
