The Brumbies will attempt to bring an end to its impasse with chief executive Michael Jones through formal mediation.

Jones on Thursday accepted the offer of mediation from the Super Rugby club's board, a week after the ACT Supreme Court upheld an injunction that allowed him to keep his job despite being stood down.

The process is expected to start on Friday.
