The Brumbies will try to use centre Tevita Kuridrani as an attacking weapon in their bid for Super Rugby success.
In his sixth season with the club, Kuridrani is one of the team's longest-serving players following the departure of more than 700 games of Super Rugby experience at the end of last season.
The Wallabies star said coach Stephen Larkham had tweaked the game plan to boost his involvement.
"It's part of our game plan this year, try and use me a lot on the first phase. Hopefully I can get that gain line," Kuridrani said.
Larkham said the Brumbies would try to get the ball to Kuridrani to help him compliment his defensive efforts with damaging attacking moves.
"The real challenge for 'T' is to make sure we get him into the game because is very motivated at the moment," Larkham said.
"I thought he had a good game on the weekend but we certainly want to get him first-phase ball is a key for him at the moment.
"He's outstanding defensively - that's his game."
The 25-year-old regained his place in the Wallabies' side last year after the man he lost it to Samu Kerevi went down with an ankle injury.
He will be looking to become a more potent force for the Brumbies in 2017 after not being involved in attack as much as he would have liked last year.
"I'm trying to change up my game this year, try and make sure I'm involved a lot," Kuridrani.
Kuridrani looked threatening with ball in hand in the Brumbies' 17-13 loss to the Crusaders in Christchurch in round one.
Larkham is hoping they can use Kuridrani to breach the Sharks defence in Saturday night's match at GIO Stadium.
"We've designed a few plays around him," Larkham said.
"This week we might try and throw a few tricks in there as well."
