He may be a singer but Michael Buble's self-deprecating sense of humour, charisma and dirty jokes almost make his concerts seem like a night of comedy.
The Canadian crooner began his fifth tour of Australia with the first of two shows at Perth Arena on Saturday night.
It started with flames as he opened with the sultry track, Fever, and slid down the angled stage.
He then had everyone immediately on their feet with his original Haven't Met You Yet.
Always the entertaining showman, Buble chatted with the crowd, posed for a photograph with fans who had a sign requesting a "Buble bath" and for one woman, sang happy birthday.

Dancing around the transforming stage, his hit list included Moondance, Everything, Crazy Love and Home, which he dedicated to the fans.
Songs from his latest album included You Make Me Feel So Young, which he joked was written by Kylie Minogue and Guy Sebastian.
The accomplished band members were also given their moment to shine with the screen displaying their images like sport stars of "Team Buble", depicting when they joined the line-up and where they trained.
Buble also singled out some Perth performers.
Urban cappella group Naturally 7 returned as the support act with crowd numbers building early for the New Yorkers, who have garnered a solid following in Australia.
Their "vocal play" involving the sounds of instruments through their mouths never ceases to amaze and they came back to perform Get Lucky, Who's Loving You, and To Love Somebody with Buble on in the middle of the arena.
"Though I've been lip-syncing most of the show, my dancing is real," Buble quipped.
With that, he launched into a series of upbeat songs including All You Need Is Love - accompanied by confetti - Burning Love, and his own It's A Beautiful Day.
The encore included Save The Last Dance before Buble ended the show as he often does with Song For You, including a part in which he sang without a microphone or music.
Buble took the time to sincerely thank the audience for their love, which he said changed his life.
It seems he really does love Australia as much as we love him.
