Goat milk formula maker Bubs is expanding its range of children's snacks, launching eight new products for kids aged one to five.

The organic-labelled snacks that include cereal bars, mini breadsticks and wafers come in single-serve packaging, a format that chief executive officer Kristy Carr says grew 26 per cent in the last year.

"We are confident that in themselves these new innovative products could generate several millions of dollars of additional domestic sales for Bubs in this expanding category," Mrs Carr said.

The new range will appear in Coles supermarkets from the end of May and will also be sold online in China on Bubs' Alibaba platform.

Mrs Carr said the company would apply to Chinese authorities so that the new snack range could be sold in physical mother-and-baby shops across the country in the same way that other Bubs products are.

She said sales of toddler snacks overall in China grew 17 per cent in 2018 compared to the previous year, showing there was significant potential for Bubs.

Bubs shares were worth 73.5 cents before the start of trade on Monday, up 98 per cent since mid December.
