NBA All-Star captain Giannis Antetokounmpo had 30 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists to guide the Milwaukee Bucks past the cold-shooting Brooklyn Nets 113-94.

Australian swingman Mitch Creek returned for the hosts after he was signed to a second 10-day contract and played 15 minutes for the injury-depleted Nets - scoring eight points and adding five rebounds and four assists to his stats sheet.

The Bucks improved the NBA's best record to 39-13 as they built a 23-point lead after three quarters as the Nets missed 19 of their first 20 three-point attempts, finishing five of 42.

Malcolm Brogdon added 16 points and Eric Bledsoe had 15 for the Bucks, who won their fourth straight, all by double digits.

Brooklyn's All-Star D'Angelo Russell scored 18 points as the Nets dropped their third game in a row, leaving the door open for the Charlotte Hornets to overtake them for sixth in the east.

James Harden extended his streak of consecutive 30-point games to 27 as the Houston Rockets defeated the host Phoenix 118-110, the Suns 11th consecutive loss.

Harden finished with 44 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals. His 30-plus-point scoring streak is now the third longest in NBA history, behind two by Wilt Chamberlain.

Rookie forward Marvin Bagley III had a career-high 24 points and 12 rebounds for his third straight double-double, leading the Sacramento Kings past the San Antonio Spurs 127-112 and Darren Collison's 22 points led a balanced Indiana Pacers scoring effort in a 109-107 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Pacers are level at 34-19 with the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers in the eastern conference and have won two in a row as they aim to overcome the season-ending injury of Victor Oladipo.

Domantas Sabonis had a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds for Indiana while Jahlil Okafor carried the Pelicans load, in the absence of injured wantaway All-Star Anthony Davis, with 25 points and 13 rebounds.

Andre Drummond notched a season-high 27 points as the Detroit Pistons snapped the Denver Nuggets's six-game winning streak 129-103.

Trey Lyles had 20 points for the Nuggets (37-16), who dropped out of a tie with Golden State Warriors for the best record in the western conference.

Taurean Prince scored 21 points as the Atlanta Hawks beat the Washington Wizards 137-129.
