Budget fails SA on infrastructure: Labor

The federal Labor opposition says the budget has failed to povide any new infrastructure spending for South Australia.

The federal budget has failed to provide a pipeline of new infrastructure projects for South Australia, opposition infrastructure spokesman Anthony Albanese says.

While funding for future defence shipbuilding in Adelaide is welcome there are no new infrastructure projects slated for SA, Mr Albanese says.

"You have to have a pipeline of projects. You have to make a decision today so that the planning and investment comes through tomorrow," he told radio 5AA on Wednesday.
