Brisbane are hopeful centre Tom Jervis will be fit to face the Sydney Kings in the NBL clash at home on Friday after suffering an ankle injury at training.

Jervis sent a scare through the injury-ravaged Bullets camp on Wednesday when he ended training in a moonboot.

The Bullets are yet to decide whether Jervis - who was in the boot as a precaution - will play against the Kings.

Jervis' setback is the latest in a string of woes for the bottom-ranked side unlikely to make the NBL playoffs following their eight-year hiatus.

Boomers duo Adam Gibson (calf) and Anthony Petrie (knee), and enforcer Cameron Bairstow (knee), have all been sidelined with injuries.
