South Sydney star Sam Burgess admits he made a mistake by filming a video on his mobile phone while driving, and will cop the fine and demerit points.
Burgess drew plenty of criticism on social media on Sunday after posting a clip of his wife Phoebe singing in the passenger seat while he was behind the wheel.
"It's unacceptable. I made a mistake and obviously I'll pay the fine and get the points," a contrite Burgess said.
"It's a mistake and something I'll learn from, and hopefully the people can learn from. But I'll move on from it now and look forward to the game this weekend."
The incident prompted NSW Roads Minister Duncan Gay to urge Burgess to be a better example.

"About an hour after it I got the phone call. I just wasn't thinking clearly," Burgess said.
Burgess declared himself a certain starter in Friday's NRL match against Parramatta, despite injuring his ankle in their last-start defeat to the Wests Tigers.
The loss was their fourth in a row, their longest losing streak under coach Michael Maguire, who described the effort as "garbage".
"I agree with what Madge said. We've got to take more responsibility as a playing group," Burgess said.
"We were nowhere near our standards a few weeks ago, but we had a good few days training last week and then we'll narrow our focus leading into this weekend's game."
The Rabbitohs are set to face an Eels side yet to know whether they will compete for competition points after being issued with provisional sanctions last week for breaching the salary cap.
Burgess didn't expect the Eels' playing group to be affected by the dramas.
"They've been pretty fired up all year. We'll be prepared, same as them. They'll prepare exactly the same. I don't see too much different," he said.
