Sam Burgess has been suspended for two weeks after being found guilty at the NRL judiciary of dangerous contact.

Burgess attempted to argue on Tuesday night that he was merely bracing for contact when his forearm collected Josh Morris' neck in South Sydney's Good Friday win over Canterbury.

But the judiciary panel has decided his conduct had been both careless and dangerous, and he will miss clashes with St George Illawarra and the Sydney Roosters.
