An alleged burglar has fallen asleep on the job at a home in Townsville.
He allegedly trashed the Kirwan house before two people who lived there returned from an overnight trip on Wednesday morning to find him snoozing on a bed.
When the pair woke him up they found property belonging to them in his pockets, police said.
A 26-year-old man will face court later this month on one count each of burglary and commiting an indictable offence and stealing.
