Test discards Joe Burns and Marnus Labuschagne have both fallen in the 70s as Queensland hunt for an unlikely Sheffield Shield victory over Tasmania on the final day at Bellerive Oval.

Burns failed to add to his overnight score of 74, while Labuschagne was dismissed for 78 after resuming on 58, with the Bulls having moved to 3-233.

Charlie Hemphrey (35 not out) and Sam Heazlett (11 not out) have pulled the Bulls within 180 runs of eclipsing Tasmania's target of 414 for victory.
