Originally a short film, it was then developed into a series and last week it even took the shape of live show, entertaining an audience of hundreds at the Mbuntua Festival.

The tenacious Warlpiri adventurers overcame obstacle after obstacle in their quest to go hunting, or just get into town and back again on the notorious car wrecking Tanami Highway.

But as usual, the skill and craftsmanship of the Bushmechanics prevailed. As the intrepid travellers made it home with their car more or less still in one piece.
