A bushfire in Western Australia's southwest region has been downgraded after threatening lives and homes.
The alert for the blaze has been reduced to an advice warning after firefighters were able to contain the fire in the south-western part of Capel.
"There is no threat to lives or homes," EmergencyWA stated on Wednesday night.
"Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes."
