Bushfire still burning in Victoria's east

Residents in parts of Victoria's east have been advised to monitor weather conditions and possible warnings as a bushfire burns near Dargo.

A bushfire near Dargo in Victoria's east is not yet under control but it's no longer a threat to communities, authorities say.

Residents in Crooked River were advised to monitor weather conditions and warnings as a bushfire continued burning 19km northwest of Dargo on Sunday.

Billy Goat Bluff Track remained closed with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting more lightning across the area on Sunday evening.
