The Country Fire Service says a bushfire is burning out of control in the Adelaide Hills and is a threat to lives and homes.

Lives and homes are under threat from a bushfire at Eden Valley in the Adelaide Hills.

The Country Fire Service says the blaze is burning in grass and is out of control.

People living in the area have been advised to activate their bushfire survival plans.
