Cricket Australia has reached an out-of-court settlement with Angela Williamson, who was sacked by the sporting body for criticising the Tasmanian government's abortion policy on Twitter.
Ms Williamson had planned to take CA to the federal court, alleging she was unfairly dismissed in June from her Tasmania-based role for expressing a political opinion.
On Friday, the parties said the matter had reached a "mutually satisfactory" resolution.
The details of the agreement are confidential, with both parties avoiding a potentially costly and lengthy legal battle.
Ms Williamson had travelled to Victoria earlier this year for an abortion after being unable to access services in Tasmania.

She criticised the government over their lack of abortion services on Twitter, with CA deeming her government relations role untenable.
Ms Williamson alleged Tasmanian Premier Will Hodgman and Health Minister Michael Ferguson and Cricket Tasmania boss Nick Cummins influenced her sacking.
All three have denied any involvement.
