Cabcharge has slumped to a half-year net loss of $106.75 million after accounting for a writedown in taxi plate licences, its holding in UK's cityfleet network, and impairments in existing operations.

The taxi network and payments system operator's revenue for the six months to December 31 was down 10.7 per cent to $79.06 million.

Cabcharge will pay an interim dividend of 10 cents per share, unchanged from the previous year, plus a special dividend of 80 cents, both fully franked.
