Football Federation Australia says acting head coach Han Berger agreed Everton midfield star Cahill and Japan-based defender Milligan would not be required in camp after consulting with the players and their clubs after the weekend.
Berger also ruled out calling any additional players into the 18-man squad assembled for the match in Ljubljana on Thursday morning (AEST).
