Californian guard to join 36ers in NBL

The Adelaide 36ers have signed three players for the next NBL season, whom coach Joey Wright says will bring toughness to the club.

The Adelaide 36ers have signed a 23-year-old Californian point guard for the next NBL season.

Former Fresno State Bulldogs' Deshon Taylor has inked a one-year deal to join the 36ers.

The 188cm-tall point guard joins a pair of NBL stalwarts in signing with the Adelaide franchise.

Former Illawarra Hawks captain Kevin White and veteran point guard Daniel Dillon, who has had NBL stints in Cairns and Melbourne and is currently playing in France, have signed two-year deals.

"The guys that we're bringing in are all coming in for specific reasons," Adelaide coach Joey Wright said in a statement on Thursday.

"We wanted to bring in guys that play defence, are resilient, obviously have the ability to score and have a skill set we can apply to the game."
