Call for better emergency services education

The Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria says migrants and refugees need to be educated better about the role of emergency services.

The Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria says migrants and refugees need to be educated better about the role of emergency services.

The Council's chairman, Eddie Micallef says people who come from countries with corrupt government services may be particularly wary, and turn them away from an emergency.

He told Andrea Nierhoff how he thinks awareness can be fostered.
