Greater Western Sydney AFL coach Leon Cameron has called on his team's leaders to stand up as the Giants look to arrest a form slump.
Injury-plagued GWS fell to their third-straight loss on Saturday afternoon at the hands of in-form North Melbourne in Hobart.
GWS were ahead at halftime but lost by 43 points after five Ben Brown goals in the third term set up an insurmountable lead.
"Right now, we're going through a bad period," Cameron said.
"No doubt, you call on your leaders whenever you're struggling and clearly our last three weeks we're struggling to play a brand of footy that's accepted.
"Our older players in (Ryan) Griffen and (Heath) Shaw, they've got to be able to set the way for (Isaac) Cumming, (Jacob) Hopper, (Harry) Perryman and (Tim) Taranto.
"It's not happening enough. It's happening in patches and we've got to continue to explore and get to the bottom of it."
GWS were missing a host of players, including co-captain Phil Davis (concussion), and lost Sam Reid to a hamstring problem midway through the match.
Davis, Josh Kelly (groin) and Brett Deledio (hamstring) are considered possibilities to return next week against Essendon.
The Giants fell away in the final term as the Kangaroos finished with a wet sail at Blundstone Arena.
Cameron also urged his charges to tighten their discipline.
With the Giants ahead in the second term, Rory Lobb had a set shot taken away when teammate Jeremy Cameron bumped Jamie Macmillan to the ground off the ball.
"We'll talk about it," Leon Cameron said.
"That's not just Jeremy on his own. Every player in this league goes through frustration.
"Our guys have got to make sure that our discipline levels are to AFL standard because you can't give away easy ball like that."
