Sydney's Campbelltown Hospital will receive a $632 million funding boost in the upcoming NSW budget.

The money for stage two of the hospital upgrade will provide extra paediatric, mental health and emergency services, as well as additional medical imaging equipment, and more maternity and surgery beds.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the funding boost on Saturday, ahead of Tuesday's budget.

She said an additional $5 million had been allocated to upgrading the hospital's car park.

The total funding boost doubled the government's 2015 election commitment of $300 million, Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said.
