Former Canberra star Terry Campese has suffered another injury setback on his comeback from a knee reconstruction, with a hamstring injury to sideline the Hull KR captain for a month.

The one-time NSW and Australia representative, who was sidelined for eight months with a knee problem, suffered a minor hamstring tear after going on as a substitute in Sunday's 38-6 Super League defeat at Huddersfield.

"It's unfortunate news for Terry and the club but the upside is that it's nothing to do with his knee injury and he's facing a much shorter time-frame off the field," Rovers' interim head coach James Webster said.

"Terry is the ultimate professional and he'll be doing everything he can to get back out there as quickly as possible but we'll definitely be without him over the Easter period and maybe one or two matches after that as well."
