Reactions are still pouring in to remarks by FIFA's long-standing President Sepp Blatter after the organisation's ethics committee banned him from world football for eight years.
Mr Blatter and European football chief Michel Platini, who has also been suspended, have vowed to appeal the judgments -- linked to a multi-million dollar payment from 2011.
Investigations into them are part of an international probe into FIFA officials for corruption.
Bonita Mersiades is a former football executive who worked on Australia's bid for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and subsequently became a whistleblower.
Dale Owens asked Ms Mersiades what new information could now emerge about that process.
