A capacity crowd is expected at the creditors' meeting for the collapsed refinery business Queensland Nickel on Friday.

Administrators FTI Consulting say the meeting, to be held at the Ville Resort Casino in Townsville at 11am (AEST), is expected to be at capacity.

FTI has urged creditors to wind up the Clive Palmer-owned Queensland Nickel, which went into voluntary administration in January owing around $200 million.
