Car bomb kills at least 23 in Baghdad

At least 23 people are dead and more than 45 people are wounded following a car bomb in Baghdad's south.

A car bomb blast has killed at least 23 people and wounded more than 45 others in a mainly Shi'ite district in southern Baghdad, police and medical sources say.

The explosion occurred on a busy commercial street in the Amil neighbourhood on Monday.
