Car crashes into Sydney church, 5 injured

Five people have been injured after a car crashed into a church in Sydney's northwest after an Easter service.

A teen who is in a serious condition in hospital was found with a stab wound on a Sydney footpath. (AAP)

A car has crashed into a church, through its glass doors and into the foyer, injuring five people in Sydney's northwest.

A 78-year-old female driver accelerated into a crowd gathered following the Easter service at the Baulkham Hills church shortly before 11am on Sunday.

Police say five people suffered non-life threatening injuries, including two adults who were taken to Westmead Hospital as a precaution.
