An elderly driver has been freed after his car crashed into the front of a building at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital, injuring two people.
The man became briefly trapped on Monday afternoon.
He was treated for minor abrasions and two women who were inside the building were treated for minor injuries, a police spokesman said.
"Staff at Royal North Shore Hospital are to be congratulated for their swift response after a car drove into a shop at the front of the Hospital," Northern Sydney Local Health District's Lee Gregory said in a statement.
The level of damage to the Acute Services Building was still to be assessed, a fire and rescue spokeswoman told AAP.
