Sydney Roosters NRL star Todd Carney is reportedly facing an indefinite suspension rather than a contract termination, following his late-night drinking session at the weekend, AAP reports.
Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce will make an announcement at 9.30 (AEST) this morning on Carney's future, and that of teammate Anthony Watts, who's been charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
The ABC reports that NSW coach Ricky Stuart says that if Carney gets the chop, other clubs should be prevented from signing him.
