A - Todd Carney scored a brace of tries to help Catalans to a 41-22 Super League win over Castleford in Perpignan.
The Dragons made it a double over the Easter period having won at Salford on Friday, running in seven tries to see off an under-manned Castleford, who had beaten Leeds in their last outing.
Exciting fullback Morgan Escare also ran in two tries in his first appearance of the season .
The Dragons moved to fourth place on points difference with the win over Castleford despite wins for Hull FC and St Helens.
"We spoke about how important this period is for us and how some teams can move up to the top and some teams can fall down to the bottom, we're putting in the type of performances that are pushing us towards the top and that is pleasing," said Catalans Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous.
Wigan winger Josh Charnley scored three tries in the Warriors' 30-16 win over Hull KR to go level at the top of Super League with Warrington.
Given how undermanned KR were, and considering their Good Friday implosion against bitter rivals Hull FC, that they led 10-4 at the break was a significant shock.
But Wigan found a way to win and back up their success over St Helens three days ago.
St Helens got back to winning ways on Easter Monday - and handed this season's surprise packages Widnes their second successive loss - as they triumphed 20-12 at the Select Security Stadium.
They had been under pressure to collect the two points after suffering a convincing defeat at home to arch rivals Wigan three days earlier.
In other matches, Hull defeated Warrington 26-24 while Wakefield upset Leeds 20-16.
Wakefield coach Chris Chester hailed his side's character and resilience after they made it back-to-back wins over Easter and inflicted more damage on Leeds' hopes of defending their Super League title.
The Wildcats beat Huddersfield on Friday in Chester's first official game in charge and they backed that up with another whole-hearted performance to edge to a 20-16 victory courtesy of Craig Hall's late try.
History was against Wakefield after 10 straight defeats at the home of the Rhinos, but they dug deep to earn their first Headingley win since 2007.
