Cash vows to fight court order over raids

Cabinet minister Michaelia Cash will fight a Federal Court subpoena ordering her to give evidence in the case over AWU raids.

Federal Jobs Minister Michaelia Cash will challenge a subpoena to give evidence to the Federal Court over raids on Australian Workers Union offices.

Senator Cash has been ordered to attend the court to give evidence on August 1 and provide documents by June 20 relating to the case, which concerns two October raids on the AWU's headquarters in Melbourne and Sydney.

Senator Cash will apply to have the subpoena set aside before a June 8 case management hearing.
