French club Catalans moved level on points with Super League leaders Warrington and Wigan with a 42-32 victory over Salford in Perpignan.
Jodie Broughton and Richie Myler both scored twice against their former employers as the Dragons secured a seventh consecutive victory, with Junior Sa'u's hat-trick proving in vain for the Red Devils.
The visitors were in the game for large parts, moving 20-16 ahead in the 50th minute, but Catalans responded by scoring 18 points in quick succession to build a cushion that they preserved despite a late fightback.
Former Wests Tigers NRL winger Pat Richards kicked six goals and scored one of Catalans' seven tries for a personal tally of 16 points.
